Application to double row angular contact ball bearings:
Compared with the single row bearing, double row angular contact ball bearings have a better rigidity and can endure overturning moment. This bearing is non-split, especially suitable for high rigidity situation. And it is widely used for the cars front wheel hub(some cars also can use same size double row taper roller bearing).
Characteristic to double row angular contact ball bearings:
Tilt of the inner ring and outer ring in the double row angular contact ball bearing is limited. The allowed tilt angle is according to bearing internal clearance, bearing size, interior design, the force and moment which acting on the bearing. When the allowed tilt angle is maximum, it should ensure the bearing will not generate excessive additional stress.
If there is tilt angle between the inner ring and outer ring when install the bearing, it will affect the bearing life, and running precision will be down, running noise will big. Double row angular ball bearing use nylon cage or brass cage. While the bearing can endure the double way of axial load, but the raceway which side have filling slot should be not endure the main axial load. The no filling slot raceway should endure the main axial load.
